During your Telly Dez Studio Session, you’ll be gently guided through the experience in a calm, comfortable environment. Children’s sessions are play-based and led by your child’s personality, creating natural moments without rigid posing or pressure. Maternity sessions are designed with comfort, privacy, and connection in mind, celebrating this season of motherhood in an uplifting way. A modest client closet is available, and guidance is provided every step of the way.

Those early days were a blur, I was tired, emotional, and so focused on getting through each hour. Seeing the images brought me right back. Newborns can be very impacted by hunger and fatigue and that's okay! My newborn sessions are not time capped so we can stop as needed for feedings, changes, and comforting. I have a private area in the studio for breastfeeding mothers if privacy is desired.
What if my baby needs to feed during the session?
Birth is never fully predictable. Although your session is booked for their due date, this is only a placeholder. Once Baby arrives, reach out to me and we will get them scheduled for their session.
What happens if my baby arrives earlier/later?
Newborn photography sessions generally take place between 1-2 weeks of age. At this stage of development your baby will still be very sleepy and will have an easier time navigating a newborn session. I recommend booking their session during your second trimester by booking a Calendar spot for their due date. If I haven't heard from you about their arrival by the due date I will send a simple reminder email that they should schedule their session shortly after their arrival. If pregnancy demands and motherhood delay this process, no worries! Reach out and let me know your baby's age and I will let you know what we can do. I always try my best to make room in my schedule for newborn clients.
When is the best time to photograph my newborn?

FAQ
Due to space constraints in my studio, I can only accommodate families for maternity or newborn sessions. I offer outdoor family sessions for clients who have previously booked a studio session. If you are an existing client and have interest in a Family session please reach out to me directly and I can send booking information your way.
can i book a family session with you?
I truly believe that photos cannot offer memory unless displayed in a way for us to enjoy them, not on a screen. For this reason, I do not include digital files in your session fee. Digital files can be purchased directly from your gallery for $150 or they come as a complimentary gift with the purchase of any print packages.
Do i get all the digital files with my session?
I recommend booking your session to occur between 30-36 weeks. This is the time when your belly will be rounded and give you the best maternal shape but is not late enough for too much discomfort. Although I do take bookings after 36 weeks, I encourage mothers to not wait so long. Birth is unpredictable and can come early in some instances. I want to protect these moments for you by making sure to provide a time window that is most likely to come without any hangups.
When is the best time to book a maternity session?
Yes. I have a modest client closet that is free for use by anybody coming into the studio. If you are interested, you can indicate that in your booking questionnaire and I will send you any options that I might have available in you or your child's sizes. My closet does not cover all sizes or color pallete. If you have interest in purchasing an outfit specifically for the photo session without an intent to use it after, I am always open to discussing a client closet contribution discount on your gallery if communicated in advance.
